Wings Over Scotland set to ‘block’ Wings Over Scotland “for stupid”

AS VIRTUALLY no one from anywhere in Scotland knows, @Wingsscotland’s Twitter account “blocks for stupid”. AhDinnaeKen reveals why Squealer Campbell, aka “Rev Stu” of Wings Over Scotland, is blocking himself: he’s monumentally stupid. AhDinnaeKen investigates:

By Widye Credititstupidity detector and Nationalist bullshit monitor

SQUEALER CAMPBELL, editor of Wings Over Scotland, has revealed he is set to block himself on Twitter.

The self proclaimed “media monitor” and alleged “professional journalist” discovered he is so monumentally stupid that he has no option other than to block himself and join the “blocklist” of other blocked “stupid” morons.

Squealer squealed: “We’re not remotely expert enough when it comes to the labyrinth of human intelligence to determine how significant our stupidity is.

“But we suspect readers will agree that it would seem an awfully stupid gaffe not to block ourself “for stupid” when we’ve been so demonstrably stupid ourselves.”

The “stupid” epiphany came to Squealer after he re-read one of his own “stupid” blogs entitled ‘The magic money rigs’.

Squealer reported that those English Basturts at HMRC had lied to Scotland to the tune of £15bn in unreported oil revenues.

But, unfortunately for Squealer, he had forgotten his own ‘teachings’ when he squealed:

“one of the primary purposes of this website isn’t just to tell people when the Scottish and UK media is lying to them, but to teach readers how to spot that for themselves. And one of the keys to learning that is to ask yourself what a story in the press is leaving out as well as what it’s telling you.”

Alert readers noted that Squealer illustrated his ‘polemic’ with the screenshot below – taken from the original report.

Wings Oil revenue distortion 01

He squealed: “In just two years, then, Scotland’s economy has suddenly produced over £15bn more than the official UK government figures had previously claimed it did. It’s a bit like popping out to your garage to fetch a screwdriver and discovering a Ferrari you didn’t know you had under a dust sheet.”

Not so alert readers failed to notice that Squealer had deliberately left out the following information from the same report:

Wings Oil revenue distortion

So, not only did Squealer deliberately ignore the purpose of the report, he actively left out the information above for his own Nationalist squealing purpose: the same failing he repeatedly flays the MSM for in his ad nauseum rants.

Now, we’re not remotely expert enough when it comes to the labyrinth of Squealer’s media “genius” to determine how significant that failing is (the ignoring of the conclusion not the simple ease with which it has been exposed). But we suspect readers will agree that it seems an awfully important conclusion to ignore without mentioning it, or having anyone else notice.

And, having noticed, it’s incredibly difficult not to conclude that Squealer Campbell must be incredibly stupid to think he could get away with ignoring his own teachings while pulling a fast one over his stupid followers.

But, as an expert German propagandist once said: “stupidity is the deliberate cultivation of ignorance.”

Squealer Campbell has cultivated that in abundance. Expect him to block himself “for stupid” anytime soon.

Exclusive: Wings Over Scotland’s lies to readers of The National exposed

WINGS OVER Scotland boasted recently to have more readers online than the Daily Record, Scottish Sun, The Scotsman, The Herald or the Scottish Daily Express. He made this astonishing unsubstantiated claim in ‘The National’ newspaper. AhDinnaeKen said “haud oan a minute, surely The National are putting their reputation at risk by publishing such falsehoods.” We hope, after reading our exclusive exposure they’ll correct the glaring error:

Campbell quote re Readership

The inference is clear. Wings expects you to believe that his site was part of the National Readership Survey 2016. Oh dear!

By Longshanker aka @ergasiophobe

STUART CAMPBELL of alternative facts website, Wings Over Scotland, was today, yet again, exposed as a cynically manipulative liar

In Friday’s The National newspaper, Campbell claimed that his website had more readers online every month than the Daily Record, Scottish Sun, The Scotsman, The Herald or the Scottish Daily Express.

The claim proved to be an astonishing barefaced lie.

We were taken aback that The National was prepared to appear to support such an easily corroborated false assertion.

In a piece entitled “What do we do about Scotland’s Unionist media in the #ScotRef campaign? We bypass them”, Campbell used a weasel worded sentence to give the impression that his site was part of the National Readership Survey of 2016.

He said: “According to figures recently released by the National Readership Survey for 2016, my own site Wings Over Scotland – has more readers online every month than the Daily Record, Scottish Sun, The Scotsman, The Herald or the Scottish Daily Express, which is an astonishing statistic…”

But it wasn’t an “astonishing statistic”. It was an “astonishing lie” intended to give an “astonishing” false impression of Wings reach and influence.

The National Readership Survey is a sophisticated operation funded by News Media Association (Newspapers), Professional Publishers Association (Magazines) and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (Advertisers).

The survey is conducted independently by IPSOS Mori and partners. It provides solid market information from which all three subscriber members base commercial strategies for the future.

The survey provides no information on “new media” Scottish political websites.

So quite what Campbell thought he was playing at by making such an amateurish, easily rebutted, claim is the question The National should be asking.

May 2016 Readership figures

Make allowance for number of browsers used, privacy settings, number of devices, crawler bots, DDOS attacks etc and “unique readers” is more likely to hit the 30 – 50,000 mark: if that. A considerable mark down from the claim above.

According to Campbell’s figures from May 2016, Wings Over Scotland had “381,977 unique readers”. But these are based on Google Analytics figures where Campbell’s use of the word “readers” is misleading. What he should have stuck to was “unique users” or the even more accurate “unique browsers”.

Contrast and compare with the table below, taken from a Press Gazette report on the National Readership Survey 2016.

Prss Gzette Updated Sep 2016

We wonder what lie Campbell will cook up to explain this embarrassing exposure. More importantly, will The National print a correction? Watch this space.

As can clearly be seen – the figures provided are in thousands – The Scotsman is read by 412,00 readers online and 729,000 on mobile: The Daily Record does better with 588,000 readers online and 3,650,000 readers on mobile.

Given that Campbell’s claimed figure of 381,977 is the highest he can provide – with the caveat that they’re dubious and mostly meaningless – it’s easy to conclude that the assertion made by him having more readers than the named papers is a lie.

Quite why he would run with such an easily disproved lie in a national/regional newspaper is the question The National should be asking.

AhDinnaeKen readers will no doubt come to their own conclusions.

Meanwhile, fire extinguishers for spontaneously combusting pants are available on EBay for Campbell.

12 Things You Didn’t Need to Know About @WangsScotland’s ‘Reverend’ Stuart Campbell

WANGS OVER Scotland bigmouth and editor ‘Reverend’ Stuart Campbell became the first to take part in a fawningly embarrassing series in CommonSpace recently. Campbell is an honest kid. He’s so honest it’s untrue. Here’s what he said ‘off the record’ when the right-on mostly ignored lefties of Commonspace had had their anodyne way with him:

"If there was one thing worse than being cheated, it was being cheated by someone who referred to themselves in the third person." ― Chris Wooding, The Iron Jackal

“If there was one thing worse than being cheated, it was being cheated by someone who referred to themselves in the third person.” ― Chris Wooding, The Iron Jackal

By Sicko PhantOfficial suck up and public relations etymologist

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

We wanted to be like normal children, you know with brothers and sisters and subservient friends with lots of dinner money to play with. But the other kids were all cunts and didn’t want to play with us after we quite reasonably pointed out our empirically researched, cited and referenced facts of why they were all cunts. People are so stupid and ungrateful when presented with the truth.

After our mother had had us, she said “no more, truly this boy is the Second Coming. Let him go forth and purify the earth – or Bathgate at least – of fuckwits, retards, cunts, morons, dickheads, arseholes, thickos and really really stupid people.

And that has been our mission in life since. You wouldn’t believe the amount of people out there who actually have the gall and arrogance to disagree and argue with us.

Who is your hero and why?

Stuart Campbell. Because he murdered that kid, meaning we got the great idea to call ourselves Reverend in the 90s. At least, that’s the story we’re sticking to.

What’s your favourite song?

‘You’re going to get your fucking head kicked in’ as sung on the terraces during our armchair football supporting days. We regularly sang it to all the primary school kids who dared contradict our choice of best pocketeer games in the eighties. Acting on the message of the lyrics soon made them see the error of their ways.

What are you scared of?

Fuck all! But if we were scared of anything, it would be getting found out and exposed for our hypocrisy. Take our public pronouncements over being unashamed of anything we’ve ever written – and then having to delete the guff we wrote about our tragically unsuccessful attempt at taking Future Publishing to the cleaners for ripping off our copyrighted material. Embarrassing or what? And then that thick cunt Longshanker dug up our claim that we had worked with “rape victims”. He plundered our old World of Stuart forum – which we were so proud of – so we had to close it down so no other fuckwit could read it because we were so unashamed of it.

Which is better: Stuart Campbell or Reverend Stuart Campbell or Wings Over Scotland or Edge of Heaven or Darius Burst or Hoots McCrivvens?

Any of the above except Darius Burst and Edge of Heaven and Hoots McCrivvens – Natch!; they represent our dark side where we were so stupid, technically illiterate and overbearingly arrogant that we got caught impersonating others through our IP address. Still, we never learn. Ask the Wikipedia editors and their cock editors who don’t believe in Fairplay – fucking Nazis!

Which is better: Throwing your toys out of the pram or acting like a crybaby?

It depends on context. Throwing your toys out of the pram is good and proper when cretinous thicko retards like K**** H**** and K*** H****ns appear on telly or start jobs working with the Scottish Government. Acting like a crybaby is better when democratic votes in parliament don’t go the way we wants them to. Why wouldn’t you want to burn down Holyrood? It’s half full of fucking unionists anyway.

You’re on a desert island, you can take one person, one book and one type of food. Who would you take, which book and which food?

You’re just trying to get us to tell you what we get up to with the sepa-rats aren’t you? NICE TRY FUCKWITS!

The best book ever written, and the one we’ve read most often, is the Wee Blue Book, but it would be a bit boring and irrelevant for an independent desert island so we’d probably go for Mein Kampf – something with depth, relevance and the odd touch of humour, not to mention searing insight into how to deal with the so called Mainstream Media and Unionists. Pro-tip: they’re not called Unionists in Mein Kampf.

And Jelly Babies, of course. As long as they’ve had their heads kicked in in the manner we likes.

When have you been wrong about something?

Would you like a list?

What really makes you angry?

Liars. Almost everything we’ve done with our life has been based on lies, embellishment of lies and lying falsehood. From pretending to be other people, to claiming other people are other people, to claiming unique users as unique readers, we are the liars liar. Most liars are only half hearted about it because they don’t have the commitment to believe their own lies. We knows our lies are the truth. And that’s a lie.

What really makes you happy?

Millions of things. Popping stupid kids ‘No Thanks’ balloons is a goer. Telling people to fuck off on Twitter. Killing things in virtual reality or real virtuality (we gets the two mixed up all the time). Getting switched off and back on again. Flirting with homosexuals because we are most definitely not fucking homosexuals. Swearing like a man. Castigating limp wristed swearers who block their f***ing swearing with asterisks.

I’m pretty much happy at anything which causes fuckwits and thickos any modicum of discomfort.

If you could spend an hour with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you ask them?

Charlene Tilton of Dallas fame. We thinks she is undeserving of the term “poison dwarf”. We believes we are the true heirs to that crown. We would wear “poison dwarf” with pride. We are the most poisonous dwarf this side of The Circus in Bath.

If you met David Cameron today what would you say to him?

You might have been adventurous with a dead pig. You don’t even know you’ve lived until you’ve tried it with a live rat.

SNP knew Mackay would crack and fail due to stress

FORTH ROAD Bridge engineers considered replacing the part of the Scottish transport department which failed dismally to perform this week. AhDinnaeKen reports:

"Sometimes when people are under stress, they hate to think, and it's the time when they most need to think." - William J. Clinton. Unfortunately for the country's economy, Derek Mackay was not "Stronger for Scotland."

“Sometimes when people are under stress, they hate to think, and it’s the time when they most need to think.” – William J. Clinton. Unfortunately for the country’s economy, Derek Mackay did not think and was not “Stronger for Scotland.”

By Truss JointCivil engineering and ministerial expert

ENGINEERS WORKING on Transportminster Derek Mackay have revealed how they plan to fix his career which cracked on Good Morning Scotland on Wednesday forcing him to reveal the truth about the Forth Road Bridge closure.

It’s believed to involve a “face saving repair” around his radio performance which failed dismally to cover up the SNP government’s budgetary gamble with the country’s economy.

A media access platform is being built around the broken minister but, given his failed admission of truth to the BBC’s Gary Robertson on Wednesday, experts say his career is beyond repair.

Firstminster Nicola Sturgeon told MSPs that her “absolute intention” was to deflect all blame on to Mackay in case any of the finger pointing should fall in her direction.

Ms Sturgeon pointed out that the transportminster was “more than 38 years old, he’s been carrying more responsibility than he was designed for by way of ability and competence.”

She insisted: “This problem with Mackay was not predicted for the radio appearance in which he cracked, but we are trying desperately to remedy it, we are fixing it and we will get another fallguy in place before the new Forth crossing is due to open next year.”

Scottish Labour Opportunists deputy leader Alex Rowley said: “It was predicted as far back as 2010 that Derek Mackay would develop a fault.

“We need a full parliamentary inquiry into what has gone wrong with Mackay.

“For an SNP Minister to admit that he lied to parliament, while revealing it to the BBC on the radio, shows there has been too much strain put on his ministerial performance and now he has broken.

“There needs to be a full replacement of the transportminster section of the SNP government.”

SNP ditch principles for foxes sake

ANOTHER PAPER cut on the road to the death of a thousand cuts. SNP decision to vote on the England and Wales foxhunting ban proves an old adage about politicians and lips moving. AhDinnaeKen reports:

"With regard to the problem of the Sudeten Parliamentary Sitz, my patience is now at an end!" said Gruppenführer Angus Robertson yesterday.

“The SNP have one overriding principle by which we all stand,” said GruppenFuhrer Robertson,  “We have no foxing principles!”

By Ewe TurnCompromised principles correspondent

IN AN unprincipled show of principle, the SNP will vote against attempts to relax the ban on fox hunting in England and Wales.

Angus Robertson, the SNP’s Westminster Gruppenführer, said the party wanted to send a message to the Tories about how principled the SNP’s unprincipled stance on principle was.

“We want to show the Tories that our principles are every bit as unprincipled as theirs,” he said.

“Therefore, it is right and proper that we assert that Scottish SNP MPs have the same rights as the Tories to turn our backs on and ignore promises made before the election. That is our vow and it will be as trustable and principled as that other ‘vow’ we never stop whining and bleating about.”

Holyrood Gruppenführer, Nicola Sturgeon, also waded into the debate to defend her party’s indefensible stance:

“The English want us to be this unprincipled,” she asserted without evidence.

“The real reason we’re compromising our alleged principles is less to do with foxhunting and more to do with our lack of principle.

David Cameron’s government has shown very little respect to the mandate that Scottish MPs have.

“We’re going to show even less respect to that mandate by sullying our ‘unsullied principle’ by voting for something we said we wouldn’t.

“That will send a clear and unprincipled message of principle to the Tories that, like them, you just can’t trust the SNP on anything we say you can trust us on.

“Trust me, this is one principle you can trust the SNP with – until, that is, we change our minds and decide you can’t.”

Analysis: Why STV’s Stephen Daisley needs to investigate Wings Over Scotland

Scottish Television journalist Stephen Daisley’s paradoxical admiration of both honest journalism and Wings Over Scotland’s partisan propaganda needs to be challenged. Stephen himself needs to do most of the challenging. Here’s why:

The face of the misogynistic Nationalist Front. Happy to call an ordinary mother a liar for expressing a view on the referendum. Check the Wehrmacht styled badge on the right of Mr Campbell's black-shirt.

False and vile accusations, no credible or tangible evidence, Wings Over Scotland’s Stuart Campbell besmirches journalism. Smear, innuendo, intimidation and surveillance is the modus operandi of this type of Nationalist propagandist.

By Longshanker aka @ergasiophobe

“CROWDFUNDING COULD be the game-changer that opens up the media landscape and allows the best and the brightest — left and right, Yes and No, veterans and newcomers — to rise to the top.” concluded STV journalist Stephen Daisley in a gushingly embarrassing promotion of Wings Over Scotland’s recently launched online mendicant fundraiser.

The conclusion was reached by Stephen in an allegedly analytical piece written by him on the STV website. The implication is clear. Daisley thinks professional “wind up merchant” and Wings blogger, Stuart Campbell, is the “best” and “brightest” of the ‘alternative media empire’ currently being built in Scotland’s online mediasphere.

If it had been written by a Wings acolyte it could easily have been dismissed as the gibberings of a tunnel visioned zealot.

But Daisley’s nobody’s fool. Despite the lightness of his touch and humorous nurturing of the facile and the inconsequential, Daisley is a highly perceptive, balanced and fair journalist. Except, of course, when it comes to the vexatious smearing liar and self professed “professional journalist” Stuart Campbell.

There’s an embarrasingly glaring blind spot there. And it undermines Daisley’s credibility somewhat given the number of times he refers to Wings in his STV writings and Twitter feeds.

On the plus side, the STV journalist showed his mettle recently when taking SNP MSP Joan McAlpine to task for her very public attack on local councils. His review of Telegraph columnist Alan Cochrane’s referendum diary was a masterpiece in scathing critique. And his calling out of trolls for their sustained and vile online abuse of Labour’s Margaret Curran was as firm and clear as it was necessary. Though the latter piece by Daisley made no mention of Wings’ misogynistic attacks on Curran.

Eeurgh!

Maybe it’s this kind of thing which fuels Campbell’s fantasy accusations.

What AhDinnaeKen has difficulty in understanding is the affinity, bordering on supine apologism, Daisley has for Wings.

In reference to Campbell’s blog, Daisley said: “Wings Over Scotland emerged during the independence referendum as the leading alternative news and opinion site…

There’s no attribution or explanation cited for the assertion so it’s clearly Daisley’s opinion. AhDinnaeKen would like to know which criteria the “leading” was measured against.

Curiously, in his piece entitled ‘Analysis: Pro-independence campaigners building alternative media empire‘, Daisley omits Wings’ readership figures. Though he does mention page views and number of articles – 54 million and over 1000 respectively.

AhDinnaeKen checked with other journalists who interviewed Campbell if they had corroborated stated readership figures supplied by him with another independent source. To date, no one contacted – the most recent being Angela Haggerty of Common Space – have given an affirmative answer. So Daisley earns kudos points for avoiding mentioning “readership” numbers claimed by the deceptive liar Campbell. Daisley appears to know the numbers couldn’t be independently confirmed. All of Campbell’s alleged “readership” figures periodically stated by him are lies and he knows it.

It can only be concluded Campbell does so to convince readers that they’re part of something big which is achieving something big just so long as they hand over some big donations. A fool and his money etc…

Except, the majority of that figure isn't actually readers yet Wings still perpetrates the lies. Hmm. Wonder why?

Except, the majority of that 600,000 figure isn’t actually readers yet Wings still perpetrates the lie. Hmm. Wonder why?

But the real issue AhDinnaeKen has with Daisley is his treatment of Campbell as if he is a journalist.

He’s not.

He’s an unbalanced and partisan propagandist: a not unskilled one, admittedly; a feverishly dedicated one, undoubtedly; and a deceptively disingenuous and vexatiously vindictive one, provably. But a propagandist nevertheless.

Campbell has no scruples, ethics, integrity, honesty, balance, accuracy or sense of fairness or justice – qualities a good journalist should possess or at least demonstrate more than lip service to. Campbell, on the other hand, continuously besmirches the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) code of conduct despite claiming he is a NUJ card carrying member.

In a way, his blog is a totemistic symbol of every negative Nationalistic stereotype you could wave a saltire at – a stereotype which should have cause to make any reasonable person fear the potential of Nationalism unchecked.

AhDinnaeKen experienced this Nationalist phenomenon first hand. Some time ago, we* discovered that Campbell had been circulating vexatious and untrue accusations via private email messages to third parties in order to smear AhDinnaeKen. It appeared to be an act of vengeance for a post we* published which demonstrated Campbell thinks that in video games, “beginner is for girls and homosexuals”. We provided corroborative visual evidence for that. (see below).

Alternative text

Of course it was just a “flippant” off the cuff remark and it was a long time ago – natch.

The post coincided with Wings’ first fundraiser result and took some of the wind out of Campbell’s ego fuelled sails.

No doubt in a fit of rage, or whatever apoplexy that type suffers when they get angry, he batch emailed the accusation that the person responsible for AhDinnaeKen had been arrested for conspiring to gang rape and murder him. He also claimed to have arrest records to corroborate the vile accusation.

This came as a nasty shock to AhDinnaeKen. We*’ve never been arrested in our* life. Boring but true. It took a while for our* outrage to calm. When we analysed Campbell’s accusation in a reasoned and systematic fashion, a study of the wording of the email made it clear just how unreasonably irresponsible, bordering on insane, Campbell is.

Notably, Campbell made the heinous claim to the third party without actually naming who this alleged gang rape and murder conspiracist was. That’s why AhDinnaeKen published a post demanding that Campbell come clean and name this alleged perpetrator.

Forced to respond, Campbell wrote a blog entitled ‘The Personal Touch‘ which relied on many of the key fallacies, falsehoods and lies he abuses in the majority of his fevered Wings posts.  Of course, he didn’t name the editor of AhDinnaeKen but he did name another individual whom we* had never heard of. And Campbell’s stuck to that line of argument ever since – repeating it on Twitter on numerous occasions.

Ironically, the Wings tweet highlights exactly the type of vexatious, bordering on insane, liar Wings actually is.

Ironically, this Wings tweet highlights exactly why it’s completely justified to call Campbell out as a vexatious slanderer and fraudulent liar. It’s the simple truth of the matter. By perpetrating the falsehood, Campbell is effectively defrauding his readers. Ergasiophobe knows the difference between fact and opinion. Campbell has still to learn that basic skill. And that’s the danger of big ‘N’ Nationalism. Especially with a cult like following behind it

And that’s where Stephen Daisley comes in. The individual hinted at in the email and named in The Personal Touch post, so far, appears to have lacked the appetite to sue Campbell. Maybe he’s been intimidated by the potential of Wings goons hunting him down in the same “creepy as f**k” manner they sought out and targeted Better Together leaflet campaigners under Campbell’s instructions during the Indyref campaign. We* don’t know.

What we* do know is that @journostephen, aka Stephen Daisley, due to his promotion of Wings – and his clear commitment to balanced and fair journalism – is virtually morally bound to clear up the claim made here by AhDinnaeKen – that Campbell is a vexatious liar and vindictive smear merchant who besmirches the ethics and purpose of journalism and brings it into disrepute.

Daisley attacked Alan Cochrane for his referendum diaries. His outrage was forthright and sincere. He said Cochrane’s “admission that a No vote was more important to him than journalism.” was “extraordinary reasoning.

” For that contempt for journalism, and for his disrespect towards those who strive to do the job without fear or favour, Cochrane is the Villain of the Year.”

A concise and upstanding defence of journalism and one that’s virtually impossible to disagree with.

Daisley appears to be under the misunderstanding that Campbell is a journalist. But if Stephen really believes that journalism is worth respecting then he needs to clear up, in his own mind at least, that Campbell isn’t taking the rise out of him personally and journalism in general. Which at present – so long as the Personal Touch story stays posted and no apology is forthcoming – Campbell is.

Campbell’s paranoid fantasy piece entitled ‘The Personal Touch‘, where he names the person referred to in the email smear, is a breach of the NUJ code of conduct in three clear areas. According to the code all journalists should:

2) Strive to ensure that information disseminated is honestly conveyed, accurate and fair.

3) Does her/his utmost to correct harmful inaccuracies.

4) Differentiates between fact and opinion.

But equally, if not more, important to that is the deliberate and aggressive defamation of a named individual by Campbell in order to silence and intimidate. Campbell did so in the full knowledge he had no tangible, credible evidence that the named individual had any connection in any manner whatsoever with AhDinnaeKen. It’s beyond contempt and it’s beyond reprehensible. And if it’s the future of an “alternative media empire” then Scotland must despair.

We* already tweeted a link yesterday to Stephen Daisley regarding Campbell’s vindictive vexatious conduct. Unsurprisingly, there was no reply.

If Stephen remains silent or, at least, doesn’t report something on Campbell’s vexatious defamation then he’s no better than a cheap nasty partisan propagandist like the Wings man himself. By promoting Campbell, Daisley is promoting the notion that “journalism” can be used to deliver the most vexatious and heinous claims against individuals in order to silence and intimidate them.

From what AhDinnaeKen perceives of Stephen Daisley, he has too much integrity and sincerity to let that happen.

Time will tell if the perception is accurate.

Our* kind word to Campbell would be, "Learn the meaning of journalism you lowlife hypocrite." And then grow up.

Daisley posted this gushing message on the STV website two days after the Indyref result. Our* kind word to Campbell would be, “Learn the meaning of journalism and stop pretending to have integrity.”

* tedious persistence of redundant joke in terms of the pretentiously bombastic pluralis maiestatsis

‘Yes’ campaigners fury over Sky News bias – Faisal Islam accused

Nationalist fundamentalists gave Scotland an object lesson in how to shoot the messenger recently. AhDinnaeKen cringes:

MSM conspiracy. Journalist tells truth in order to lie to sovereign people of Scotland.

MSM conspiracy. Journalist tells truth in order to lie to sovereign people of Scotland.

By Truther McTruth

THERE WAS fury from Yes fundamentalists last night following accusations that Sky News’ Political editor, Faisal Islam told the truth about the fall in oil prices.

“This anti-Scottish mainstream media liar lied to the public by not lying and telling the truth” frothed Mr A 45’er.

“Faisal Islam seems determined to childishly report that the oil price has dropped and implies that previous SNP government projections of $110 per barrel were hopelessly optimistic and delusional.

“It would be much fairer if Mr Islam just admitted that his reporting is a mainstream media trick perepetrated by No voting coffin dodgers to make pre-referendum SNP projections look ridiculous.

“Faisal has form on this. He made Firstminster Salmond look stupid and deceptive over the currency union by asking him honest pertinent questions. And that’s just not good enough.

“What we want is the truthful truth about just how truthful the SNP are. Thank goodness we can just stick our fingers in our ears and read The National.”
