Gonnae No Read This

We have been asked to further explain what this site is meant to be about. Try this:

When Alex Salmond chose to release the date of the referendum to the Sunday Sun on 26 February 2012, he displayed contempt for the Scottish Parliament and, more importantly, the Scottish People.

That is when this site was born. That Day of Ignominy will remain with us for longer than  a long time.

Nothing politicians do bothers AhDinnaeKen too much. We expect them to do nothing for normal people and they usually pay the expectation back in spades.

Salmond’s endorsement of the Sunday Sun was an exception. AhDinnaeKen felt genuinely insulted by the front page of that Sunday Sun.

The Nationalists we were told offered an alternative to the stagnating and dispiriting corruption of Punch and Judy Westminster politics.

That front cover demonstrated in irrefutable terms that we, the Scots, could only expect more of the same from Sun King Alex of Salmond’s Blairite style drone party.

Indecision may or may not be our problem. Certainly when it comes to the forthcoming election in October 2014.

Will we vote Och Aye or Nae Chance?

Ah Dinnae Ken.

Is it ignorance or apathy driving us to this stramash? We dinnae ken and we dinnae ker!

As the main proponent of the Independence cause, Sun King Alex of Salmond has cheapened himself and the expectations of the referendum.

As with our attitude to most politicians, we’ll only believe anything the Sun King says when his lips aren’t moving.

So, this is where you went wrong:

“When Alex Salmond chose to release the date of the referendum to the Sunday Sun on 26 February 2012, he displayed contempt for the Scottish Parliament and, more importantly, the Scottish People.”

Starting from a fundamentally negative and dishonest perspective it is no wonder it is not funny.

To paraphrase my good friend Douglas – I shall not return.

    • Starting from a fundamentally negative and dishonest perspective it is no wonder it is not funny.

      Thankyou P Badly

I think I shall incorporate your line into GonnaeNoReadThis.

      Thankyou again.

      Regards

  2. Don’t you mean that he treated the ‘Whollyrude’ Scottish ‘Plasticene’ Parliament with contempt? The issue that seems to have brought you so much manufactured ire doesn’t seem to be one which would anger anyone outside of the political classes.

This blog contains no consistent internal logic. It’s as though Tom Harris wrote it.

What a shit article, is it supposed to say something, if so , I lost the point. (and interest) very quickly.
Total crap, dressed up as narative. Must have been stoned when he wrote it.

  4. Wean

    I’m voting yes.

  5. Thank you for making this website on the internet. It is useful for showing that both sides of the independence debate have their more dedicated enthusiasts, and it’s not all ‘bams’ on just the one side of the fence

    • Thankyou näbd

      1) You’re welcome. It’s written for people just like you.

      2) This site isn’t on any side of the independence debate.

As you’re one of the more prolific apologists for certain “bams” on one side of the fence I’ll take your word with the pinch of salt it deserves.

      Regards

At a recent debate in Joan McAlpine called herself a Cultural Catholic while addressing a predominately Catholic audience in Coatbridge. When asked what that meant she was unable to answer. So can someone shed light on this for me? What indeed is a Cultural Catholic or a Cultural Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jew, Buddhist ? Does the statement Cultural Whatever mean you will stoop to anything in the hope of getting a vote? Just for the record Joan your track record puts you well on course for a Zero Points from
    such Faith groups.

Just a small suggestion for your website layout:
On your strapline, insert an ampersand (&) after the first word.

My yes vote had nothing to do with Salmond, nor the SNP, but all to do with Scotland leaving the Pro england, anti Scotland corrupt westminster.

I am ravenous for more content. Don’t tell me you’ve been busy, everyone’s been at hame for the last two years. Just curious: why do you think Alex Salmond has such a poor track record when it comes to choosing people to cosy up with? I present the evidence as follows: Donaldo Trump and his egregious feckin’ golf course; Russia Today (’nuff said). Two major twats. Surprised he didn’t add Kim Jong Un to his friends list. Also curious: is marrying your mother illegal? Asking for a friend.
