“There has never been nationhood without falsehood.” ― Felipe Fernández-Armesto. Oh how we laughed at this idiot.

NATIONALISM MAY be caused by having no sense of humour or irony, according to new research.

The findings contradict Firstminster Salmond’s official definition that Nationalism is caused by watching Braveheart wrapped in a saltire with blue face paint while eating deep fried haggis washed down with Irn Bru.

Richard Poultice, professor of Nationalist commentary at Scratchcard University, said: “It seems that people who believe in self determination also believe that we are under the yolk (sic) of oppressive colonising anti-Scots traitor Quisling turncoat basturts.

“We reached these painstakingly empirically accurate conclusions by looking at the Twitter #indyref hashtag timeline for five minutes.”
