McAlpine’s ginger whinger joke is a very toxic issue

McCarthyism raised its ugly head in the American senate recently. Here’s Moanie with her parochialised Parish Cooncil pish version.

DID YOU see that hot air blast at Firstminster’s Questions last week?

A leader of the Scottish Nationalist Party quipped: “We will conduct our debate for an Independent Scotland in a positive manner.

“I wonder if the Bitter Together campaign of Labour and the Tories can match that commitment.”

Does irony exist in the la la land of the Nationalists?

Still, it’s good to see where the CyberNats get their civic progressiveness and inclusiveness from – King CyberNationalist himself, Tricky Dicky Salmond.

His vacuous drone MSPs fell aboot laffin and applauded. Derek MacOchaye nearly pished hissel’.

Can you imagine the outcry if a Tory Tory or a Labour Tory said the same aboot the Indy crusade? They’d be called Tory hypocrites!

By raising the incident in this column, I will be told I lack a sense of humour or irony.

And that is absolutely correct. Nationalists don’t do humour or irony. Life is much too serious for either of those kind of fripperies.

If we get oor way with Independence, the anti-Scots element within will see just how serious we can get. Take that anyway ye’s want. They know who they ur. And so do we.

One last thing. Independence is not something we can win fairly. It’s why we’re trying every petty little trick in the book. Ask the Electoral Commissioner if you don’t know what I mean.

  1. Indeed, and as I recall it a few weeks ago even Doug Daniel said that the ‘Bitter Together’ jibe was a bit off!!

And noticed Alex Salmond use the term ‘Europhobe’ vis-a-vis the EU at FMQs recently, which in my book makes him an Anglophobe vis-a-vis the UK!

Anyone criticising the EU, the SNP or the idea of the independence for Scotland is considered anti-Scottish, a scaremongerer, a whatever-phobe or even racist at the margins. Yet the same kind of thing vis-a-vis Westminster seems to be fine!

And this whole “successful business man” thing characterising Joanie’s latest offering is just excruciating. Can you imagine the reaction if Jim McColl, Tom Hunter et al had been bigging up any Westminster government of any hue, never mind the Tories?

I’m beginning to think Doug isn’t so much a person as a cyber rash. And he’s all over Wangs Over Skintland in an unflatteringly embarrassing fashion. Not so much a slavering sycophant as a complimentary catamite. He seems a pleasant enough fellow despite the superiority complex over his A in Higher maths and his antipathy toward the Burd.

Missed that one – wish I hadn’t. I tend to watch FMQ around 10pm with the long suffering concubine. Amazingly, she’s growing to quite like it due to the two women vs Salmond angle. She comes up with some cracking comments – she genuinely has just about no interest in politics whatsoever.

Anyone criticising the EU, the SNP…etc.

Indeed! As the Europhobe comment and the Bitter Together comment prove, the Nationalists just don’t do irony.

    They’d be Natballed!
